Levantine

Levantine fills an important role in the Seaside Nature collection as its lightest, most space-expanding option. In a market increasingly dominated by gray-toned flooring, this warm beige offers a refreshing alternative that feels both current and timeless.

The color itself is thoughtfully developed—it's light enough to brighten dim spaces and make small rooms feel larger, but has enough warmth and variation to avoid the clinical feel that pure white or gray floors can create. The honey undertones are subtle but make a real difference in how the floor interacts with natural light throughout the day, particularly during the grey months when maximizing natural light matters most.

Construction quality matches the rest of the collection with the same 3mm thickness, 22 mil wear layer, and EIR texture. The Embossed-in-Register process is particularly effective on this lighter color, where the texture adds crucial visual depth and realism. Without it, light floors can look flat and obviously printed.

One consideration with lighter flooring is that it tends to show dirt, pet hair, and dust more readily than medium tones. The matte finish helps somewhat, and the light color doesn't show watermarks or cleaning streaks, but maintenance awareness is higher than with the mid-tone options like Bering. Greater Vancouver installers often recommend this color for households without pets or where regular cleaning is routine.

Pricing at $2.38/sqft on sale represents solid value for a Canadian-made product with this level of certification and warranty coverage. The main ongoing cost consideration is professional installation, which is essential for proper glue-down application.
