Lincoln

Lincoln occupies a unique position in the Seaside Nature palette as a brown with distinctly cool undertones. In the flooring world, this 'cool brown' or 'weathered' look has become increasingly popular as homeowners move away from very warm golden oaks but don't want to commit fully to gray.

The color development is well-executed—there's enough brown to read as wood rather than gray, but the cool undertones give it a contemporary, almost reclaimed character. It's the kind of floor that looks like it has a story, even when brand new. The medium shade variation reinforces this character without being overwhelming.

Construction-wise, Lincoln shares the same quality specs as its collection siblings: 3mm total thickness, 22 mil wear layer with ceramic bead technology, and Embossed-in-Register texture. The EIR process is particularly effective on this weathered-look floor, enhancing the reclaimed wood aesthetic that appeals to contemporary coastal tastes.

One consideration: cool brown tones can read differently depending on your lighting. In spaces with warm incandescent lighting, Lincoln will appear more brown; in spaces with cool LED or northern light, it will lean more gray. Metro Vancouver flooring professionals recommend requesting a sample and observing it in your actual space before committing—this is especially important in our region where natural light varies so dramatically between summer and winter.

Pricing remains consistent with the collection at $2.38/sqft on sale, representing solid value for the quality and Canadian manufacturing.
