Antique Beige

Antique Beige represents Armstrong's answer for consumers who love wood character but are tired of oak. The elm visual is genuinely different—more flowing and organic than oak's straight grain, with interlocking patterns that create visual interest without overwhelming.

The 'antique' quality in the color is subtle but effective. This isn't a distressed or artificially aged look; rather, it's a color temperature that suggests established warmth. New installations in Antique Beige avoid that 'just installed' appearance that can make vinyl floors look artificial. Metro Vancouver flooring professionals often recommend this product for heritage home renovations where the flooring needs to complement rather than compete with original architectural details.

The Homespun Impression design group emphasizes character and authenticity. The grain patterns vary significantly across the 30 unique visuals, creating floors that feel less manufactured than uniform oak patterns. This appeals particularly to homeowners who appreciate natural variation but don't want the maintenance challenges of real reclaimed wood.

From a practical standpoint, Antique Beige occupies excellent middle ground. It's light enough to keep rooms feeling open but saturated enough to hide everyday dirt and wear. The neutral-to-warm tone coordinates with virtually any color scheme, making it a safe choice for rental properties or homes likely to undergo future décor changes.

The Diamond 10® Technology finish is particularly valuable on the textured Homespun Impression surface, where the embossing could potentially trap dirt if not properly protected. Armstrong's diamond-infused coating resists the grime buildup that ages lesser textured floors.
