Napa Beige

Napa Beige from Armstrong's American Charm 12 collection represents excellent value in the glue-down luxury vinyl category. The Vineyard Oak design pattern features 11 unique plank visuals, ensuring your installed floor won't show obvious repeats that cheapen the overall look.

The 12 mil wear layer is a significant step up from the 6 mil option, particularly for households with pets, active children, or anyone who simply wants longer-lasting beauty. Armstrong's Diamond 10® Technology adds another layer of protection—this proprietary urethane finish is specifically engineered to resist the micro-scratches that gradually dull vinyl flooring over time.

Installation requires adhesive, which can be both a pro and con. On the positive side, glue-down vinyl creates a more solid, less hollow feeling underfoot compared to floating click-lock products. It also eliminates expansion gap concerns and allows for seamless transitions between rooms. Greater Vancouver flooring contractors often prefer this installation method for its stability in humid conditions where floating floors can sometimes shift. However, professional installation is recommended, and the floor is more difficult to remove if you ever want to change it.

At just 2mm thick, this product works well over existing flooring or in renovation projects where floor height is a concern. The thin profile also makes it suitable for radiant heat installations, with the vinyl transferring warmth effectively.

The Made-in-USA aspect is notable—Armstrong manufactures this product in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, ensuring quality control and supporting domestic jobs. The 20-year residential warranty provides peace of mind, though the 5-year commercial warranty suggests Armstrong is realistic about the demands of high-traffic commercial settings.
