Short Hills

Short Hills represents the understated choice in the Accord Select lineup. While other colors make statements — Gulf Island's contemporary cool, Lodge's traditional warmth — Short Hills steps back. It's a supporting player that lets other design elements shine.

This isn't a criticism. Many homeowners specifically want a floor that doesn't demand attention. Short Hills delivers exactly that: a warm, neutral beige that creates a calm base for rooms where the focus belongs elsewhere. Gallery walls, statement furniture, architectural details — all look better against Short Hills' subtle backdrop.

The warm beige tone avoids the potential coldness of gray floors while stopping short of the commitment of darker browns. It's truly neutral territory, compatible with both warm and cool color schemes. This versatility makes Short Hills one of the safest choices in the collection for buyers who may update their decor over time.

Medium shade variation adds enough visual interest to avoid monotony while maintaining the overall sense of calm. The ultra-matte finish enhances the understated aesthetic, avoiding any shine that might draw the eye downward.

**Metro Vancouver flooring contractors** appreciate Short Hills' versatility—it coordinates with virtually any cabinet color and furniture style, making recommendations straightforward. Performance matches the full Accord Select specification, with the waterproof low swell black HDF core providing genuine moisture protection. Short Hills handles kitchens, mudrooms, and bathrooms with the same confidence as its more dramatic siblings.

The neutral tone does mean Short Hills can't add warmth or coolness to a space on its own — it reflects the design decisions around it rather than making statements of its own.
