Sunlight

Sunlight occupies an interesting position in the current flooring market. While cool grays and greiges dominate trends, there's always demand for genuinely warm floors—and Sunlight fills that niche effectively at the TF62 Series' budget price point.

The honey-gold coloration is more saturated than typical modern neutrals, which is both its strength and consideration. In the right setting, this warmth transforms a room's entire feel. In the wrong setting, it can feel out of place. Know your existing décor and lighting before committing.

From a performance standpoint, Sunlight shares the same 12.3mm construction and AC4 rating as its TF62 siblings. The 36-hour water resistance, HDF core, and FloorScore certification apply across the series. What varies is purely aesthetic.

The EIR texture works exceptionally well with this warm tone. Golden floors can look artificial when the grain doesn't read properly, but Toucan's embossing creates convincing depth. Greater Vancouver installers note that the warm coloring is forgiving during installation, hiding minor imperfections better than cooler tones.

Installation follows the familiar TF62 pattern—straightforward drop-lock system, 48-hour acclimation, 8mm expansion gaps. Nothing unique here compared to other colors in the series.

One honest note: this is a statement floor. Unlike the more neutral Loess or versatile Frozen, Sunlight makes a definite style choice. It photographs warmer than in person, so if possible, order samples before committing to a full order.

For the price point, Sunlight offers legitimate value for homeowners specifically seeking warm golden floors. Just ensure it fits your overall design vision before purchasing.
