The spec sheet on this collection punches above its price. A 0.55mm wear layer is what commercial specifiers ask for in restaurants and retail—on a residential floor it translates to a surface that treats dogs, chairs, and grit as rounding errors. The lifetime pet warranty is not marketing bravado; it reflects how the UV-cured acrylic finish actually performs against claws.

The Välinge 2G angle-to-angle joint is a proper mechanical lock. It asks a little more patience than fold-down systems—each row tilts and drops in as a unit—so Greater Vancouver flooring contractors typically quote it as a standard click install, while first-time DIYers should budget extra time for the last row and door jambs.

At 5.5mm the plank sits slim, which is genuinely useful in renovations where floor height meets existing tile or hardwood at doorways with millimetres to spare. The trade-off versus thicker WPC boards is a firmer feel underfoot and more need for subfloor prep, since a slim plank will follow humps and dips more honestly.

Waterproof through its full thickness, it is safe for bathrooms, laundry rooms, and below-grade rooms—the places wood-based floors fear.
