Vintage Western Saddle

Vintage Western Saddle represents the deepest, warmest color in the Cork Vista lineup, offering homeowners who appreciate rich, traditional aesthetics a sustainable flooring option that doesn't compromise on comfort or performance.

The construction starts with TORLYS Enhanced Smart Core, an engineered substrate that provides dimensional stability and impressive dent resistance. Unlike cheaper cork options that can show furniture impressions permanently, the Vista construction bounces back from everyday impacts. The attached CorkPlus Blue underlayment with Microban antimicrobial protection eliminates the need for separate underpad purchase while providing sound dampening and moisture barrier properties.

Greater Vancouver flooring contractors appreciate the straightforward installation thanks to the Uniclic click-lock system. The tongue-and-groove mechanism creates tight, gap-resistant joints that stay secure over time. At 9.5mm total thickness, these planks provide substantial underfoot comfort while still fitting under most door clearances. The ability to install up to 50 feet in any direction without transition strips means fewer visual interruptions in open floor plans.

The surface finish deserves special mention. TORLYS Maxx Finish provides commercial-grade stain and wear resistance with built-in antimicrobial properties. Cork naturally resists mold and mildew, and the added Microban protection throughout the underlayment extends this protection to the entire floor assembly.

One consideration: Cork Vista is not waterproof, only surface water resistant. While spills wiped up promptly won't cause damage, this floor isn't suitable for bathrooms without silicone sealing at expansion gaps or areas prone to standing water.

The high shade variation in Western Saddle creates a floor with genuine character and movement. Each plank contributes to an organic, natural appearance that gets better with age rather than showing wear.
