Vintage Shoreline

Vintage Shoreline offers something unique in the Cork Vista collection: a color that bridges warm and cool tones while evoking a specific design aesthetic. Where Western Saddle goes warm and Natural stays neutral, Shoreline ventures into cooler territory with its grayish-brown undertones that recall sun-bleached driftwood.

The TORLYS Enhanced Smart Core provides the same excellent performance across all Vista colors. Dent resistance, dimensional stability, and durability remain consistent regardless of the surface coloring. This means choosing Shoreline is purely an aesthetic decision, with no performance trade-offs.

Metro Vancouver flooring professionals report that the Uniclic installation system makes this an achievable DIY project for most homeowners. The 9.5mm thickness keeps door clearance manageable while providing substantial underfoot cushioning. Cork's natural thermal properties mean the floor feels warm even in air-conditioned spaces, eliminating that cold-floor shock common with tile and stone.

Shoreline's cool undertones require some design consideration. While incredibly versatile within coastal and contemporary schemes, the grayish cast may clash with very warm wood furniture or orange-toned walls. Test samples against existing finishes before committing.

The attached CorkPlus Blue underlayment with Microban antimicrobial protection simplifies installation while providing sound dampening and moisture barrier properties. For upper-floor condos or homes where noise transfer is a concern, cork's natural acoustic benefits are a significant advantage.

Like all Cork Vista products, Shoreline is surface water resistant rather than waterproof. The coastal aesthetic might tempt installation near beach entry points, but moisture protection requires vigilance. Use quality entry mats and address wet footprints promptly.
