Edison Xtra

Edison Xtra is named for the man who brought light to the world, and this floor does its namesake proud. The sandy beige tone has an inherent luminosity that catches and reflects light, creating a brighter, more open feeling in any space.

The warmth in Edison Xtra is carefully calibrated—warm enough to feel cozy and inviting, but not so yellow that it dates the space or clashes with cool-toned furnishings. It sits in that sweet spot of natural-looking wood tone that photographs well and lives even better. Vancouver flooring installers appreciate how well this shade adapts to different lighting conditions.

The 12.3mm construction delivers exceptional value at this price point. The thick HDF core provides a solid, confident feel underfoot that cheaper laminates simply can't match. Combined with quality underlayment, you get genuine comfort and noticeable sound reduction.

For homes in our coastal climate, Edison Xtra addresses a real need. During long winters with limited daylight, flooring that enhances available light makes a meaningful difference in how your home feels. This floor actively works to brighten spaces rather than absorbing light like darker options.

The 72-hour spill protection gives peace of mind for active households. Kids spill things, pets have accidents, life happens—having that generous window to clean up before damage occurs makes laminate practical for real family living.

One consideration: the lighter, warmer tone may show certain types of dirt more readily than mid-tone neutrals. In high-traffic entries or mudrooms, regular sweeping will keep Edison Xtra looking its best. The tradeoff is a floor that makes your entire home feel more welcoming and light-filled.

The matte finish complements the natural aesthetic, avoiding the artificial shine that can make laminate look obviously synthetic. It also helps hide minor scratches and scuffs that are inevitable in active households.
