Anning Xtra

Anning Xtra is the Switzerland of flooring—diplomatically neutral and universally compatible. Named after Mary Anning, whose fossil discoveries revolutionized paleontology, this color brings a sense of timeless discovery to your space.

The beige here strikes a careful balance between warm and cool undertones, making it genuinely versatile rather than just bland. Under warm lighting, it leans slightly amber; under cool lighting, it shows subtle gray undertones. This chameleon quality means it adapts to your space rather than dictating terms. Vancouver flooring professionals often recommend this shade for homeowners who plan to redecorate over time.

The 12.3mm construction delivers the same premium feel found throughout the Maven Xtra collection. That substantial thickness translates to a solid, confident footfall and noticeably reduced sound transmission compared to thinner laminates. Combined with quality underlayment, you'll have a quiet, comfortable floor.

Where Anning Xtra shines is in open-concept living. When one floor needs to work with a gray kitchen, beige living room, and white bedroom, most floors compromise somewhere. Anning Xtra's balanced neutrality handles all three without looking mismatched in any space.

The 72-hour spill protection proves its worth in dining areas and kitchens. Red wine at dinner? Coffee in the morning rush? You have time to deal with it properly without permanent damage. Just remember this isn't a license for standing water—it's protection for life's accidents, not neglect.

The matte finish supports the neutral aesthetic by avoiding shine that could shift perceived color. It also does an excellent job hiding minor scratches and scuffs, maintaining that consistent look over time.

For design flexibility, Anning Xtra is hard to beat. It provides a solid, lasting foundation that accommodates changing tastes in furniture, paint colors, and accessories without requiring floor replacement.
