Overview
Gibson represents the contemporary direction in the Casting collection, offering a cool gray finish that aligns with modern design preferences. This is a floor for Greater Vancouver property owners who want to move decisively away from traditional warm oak toward something distinctly current.
The gray treatment transforms European White Oak into something that reads as modern rather than traditional. While the oak grain remains visible, providing authentic hardwood character, the color story is entirely contemporary. It's real wood that doesn't look dated—a quality that resonates with the modern aesthetic popular throughout the Lower Mainland.
For homes with gray color schemes, stainless appliances, and contemporary furniture, Gibson provides the foundation that warm options simply can't deliver. The cool tones create visual coherence with modern design elements while still offering the authentic appeal of real hardwood. It pairs beautifully with the West Coast modern style.
The modern option in an otherwise traditional collection—genuine hardwood with contemporary gray sophistication.
