Iridium Xtra

Iridium Xtra represents the Goldilocks choice within the Atomic Xtra collection—a neutral beige that's neither too warm nor too cool, providing maximum decorating flexibility without sacrificing the collection's core water-resistant benefits.

What sets Iridium apart from its warmer sibling Francium is the color calibration. Where Francium leans into golden-tan territory, Iridium stays centered, incorporating just enough gray undertone to read as contemporary without becoming cold. This balance proves remarkably versatile when matching existing furniture, cabinetry, and décor.

The construction matches all Atomic Xtra products—8mm HDF with AC4 rating and Välinge 5G installation. The neutral color presents both advantages and considerations: it hides most everyday debris reasonably well while showing neither the dust-magnifying tendencies of very dark floors nor the obvious dirt-showing nature of very light floors.

For homeowners facing the common challenge of selecting flooring before finalizing other design decisions, Iridium provides welcome insurance. Vancouver flooring professionals often recommend this neutral for clients uncertain about long-term design direction. The color works with both warm metallic fixtures and cool chrome or nickel tones, pairs with white cabinets and wood cabinets alike, and supports design pivots from farmhouse to contemporary with equal grace.

The 72-hour water resistance performs identically to other Atomic Xtra variants—suitable for kitchens and half-baths, but requiring prompt cleanup of spills rather than true waterproof performance. The neutral tone does show water spots more readily than darker colors when spills aren't addressed, though they clean away without lasting damage within the protection window.
