Phantom Gray

Phantom Gray represents the bold end of the American Charm gray spectrum. This deep charcoal makes a definitive design statement that either thrills or concerns homeowners—there's no middle ground. For those with the design confidence to embrace dark flooring, the results can be stunning.

The Milford Oak pattern works particularly well in dark colorways. The refined grain texture and subtle variation prevent the floor from appearing as a featureless dark plane. Light catches the embossed surface, revealing depth and character that photographs can't fully capture. In person, Phantom Gray reads as sophisticated rather than simply dark.

Lighting matters significantly with Phantom Gray. Well-lit rooms with natural light or abundant artificial lighting showcase the floor's depth and grain detail. Poorly lit spaces risk feeling cave-like. Before committing to Phantom Gray, assess your room's lighting honestly—this floor needs light to perform its best.

**Greater Vancouver installers** note that the practical advantages of dark flooring shouldn't be underestimated. Dust, pet hair, and minor debris virtually disappear on Phantom Gray. For busy households with pets or young children, this means floors look cleaner longer between sweepings. The dark tone also hides minor scratches that would be visible on lighter floors.

Diamond 10® Technology provides the scratch resistance that dark floors need. Scratches on dark surfaces show as lighter marks, making them more visible than on light floors when they do occur. The enhanced protection helps maintain Phantom Gray's uniform appearance over time.
