Nature's Carpet Stapleford Plus Wool Carpet

Stapleford Plus combines a 40 oz pile weight of 100% wool with a ribbed loop construction — parallel cords that give the surface direction and rhythm. The density earns its Heavy Residential rating honestly: at 40 ounces, the loops support one another and resist the crushing that defines carpet aging. Backing is synthetic primary with jute secondary, bonded with synthetic latex, on a 13 ft 2 in roll.

Installation is stretch-in over pad with one pattern-adjacent consideration: like a stripe, the rib has direction, and it should run consistently through connected spaces. Greater Vancouver renovation contractors treat ribbed goods like fine linear patterns — squared to the dominant wall, seamed along a rib rather than across it. The wool face carries inherent soil and flame resistance plus the insect-resist treatment, and the usual rules hold: dry rooms only, wool-safe care, and claws and loops remain uneasy neighbours.

Mayfield, Hampshire, and Silverdale are cultivated English-village neutrals — warm greige through soft silver — that suit both traditional millwork and pared-back modern rooms. The fine rib adds the visual interest of a woven textile, grounding relaxed West Coast interiors without demanding attention.
