Overview
Paragon takes a different route than most broadloom: it is a flatwoven loop pile in one hundred percent wool with natural jute, giving the surface the tactile, woven character of a crafted textile rather than a tufted carpet. The jute adds visible texture and an earthy irregularity that makes each of the four colorways — Prism, Motif, Vanguard, and Margarite — feel handmade.
At a trim 17.69 ounces per square yard, this is a deliberately low-profile carpet. That thinness is a feature, not a compromise: doors clear it easily, furniture sits stably on it, and it transitions cleanly to hardwood or tile without bulky reducers. Flatweaves also shrug off the crushed-pile look that plagues plush carpet in furniture zones, because there is simply very little pile to crush.
As a Medium Green style on the Green Spectrum, Paragon keeps natural fiber at the heart of the build while using a woven polypropylene and jute backing system. Its slim profile and natural texture have made it especially popular for Metro Vancouver condos, where door clearances are tight, square footage is precious, and a woven wool floor adds warmth without visual bulk.
Paragon is the flatweave answer for design-driven spaces — woven wool-and-jute texture in a slim profile, best where style and clearance matter more than deep cushioning.
